Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the more well known parks in Uganda, and for good reason. Of the vast variety of what nature has to offer here in Uganda, most of it is here in this park, not to mention that it is the second largest national park here in Uganda. Lake Mburu NP is, by contrast the one of the smallest national parks in Uganda. Named after the lake that lies in the center of the park, Lake Mburo is commonly referred to as a birdwatchers’ paradise and it is chiefly for this reason that it was designated a national park.
